25% rise out of poverty
Our Collective Goal
100,000 fewer people experiencing poverty in Philadelphia
100K fewer experiencing poverty
THE PLAN

A better Philadelphia for us all.

We can’t afford to be the poorest big city in America. And yet, we are.

23% of us live on less than $26,000 a year for a family of four, and 11% live on less than half that. That’s over 350,000 people living every day in financial crisis.

The Promise is a multi-year initiative to raise funds and invest in our city so we can face poverty head-on. Our goal is to work alongside Philadelphians to increase their income and build sustainable careers.
